According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Joaquin Correa’s may remain out of action for at least 20 days while Stefano Sensi’s move to Sampdoria has been put on hold.
The Argentinean striker left the pitch in tears during Inter‘s Coppa Italia clash against Empoli on Wednesday.
He had a clinical visit yesterday and will undergo further examinations today.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Correa could have suffered a first-degree strain which will keep him out of action for at least 20 days.
He will surely miss the Milan derby after the break, but the Nerazzurri won’t go in the market for a new striker because of that.
However, Stefano Sensi’s move to Sampdoria has been put on hold for at least one week because of Correa’s injury, even if the Argentinean is a striker and Sensi is a centre midfielder.
The former Sassuolo scored the winner against Empoli, so his medicals with Sampdoria, which had been scheduled on Thursday, didn’t take place and Sensi will remain at San Siro for at least one more week.
