MLS outfit Los Angeles FC have an agreement in place with Juventus to sign teenage defender Lorenzo Dellavalle on a permanent deal according to reports from Fabrizio Romano on Thursday evening.
Dellavalle’s move to the states will see him team up with former Juventus and Italy captain Giorgio Chiellini, who has been playing for LAFC since his departure from Turin in the summer of 2022.
The Juve youngster has enjoyed a successful summer as part of the Italy U19 squad that won the European Championships in mid-July. Also part of the squad was Dellavalle’s cousin, Alessandro, a promising talent in Torino’s ranks.
The 19-year-old Lorenzo was recently promoted to Juventus’ Next Gen squad, having been an established member of the club’s U19 side. He is yet to make an appearance for the first team under Massimiliano Allegri.
Dellavalle did make seven appearances for Juventus in the UEFA Youth League in 2022-22 until their elimination at the hands of Genk in the play-off round.
