Kean seeks Juventus comeback

Italian sources maintain Everton striker Moise Kean has decided he wants a return to Juventus, despite Borussia Dortmund interest.

The 20-year-old is a product of the Bianconeri youth academy and was sold to Everton last summer for €27.5m plus bonuses.

However, he failed to settle in and has so far contributed three goals and two assists in 35 competitive games for the Toffees.

Calciomercato.com and Goal.com claim Kean has his heart set on a return to Juventus and his hometown of Turin.

Getting Everton to agree the transfer will be tricky, but the Bianconeri hope to get it done on loan – maybe even a paid two-year loan – with obligation to buy in June 2022.

Everton would essentially make back the money they spent, with the final figure coming out to €25m.

Kean would be a second choice striker behind incoming Edin Dzeko, but there are several reasons why he’d benefit Juve.

As Kean is a product of their academy and still only 20 years old, he would fill a valuable slot in the Bianconeri Champions League and Serie A squad lists.

He also already knows the club and is said to be a favourite of new coach Andrea Pirlo.
