Juventus wait for Bayern’s improved De Ligt bid, challenge Inter for Bremer

Juventus are waiting for an improved offer from Bayern Munich for Matthijs de Ligt and are ready for a ‘Derby d’Italia’ in the market for Torino‘s Gleison Bremer.

De Ligt has a contract until June 2024 but has agreed personal terms with the Bavarians who are now in talks with Juventus.

The Serie A giants have rejected an opening €60m bid (plus add-ons) from Germany and are looking for a sale in the region of €90-100m.

Tuttosport and Il Corriere dello Sport claim that the Bianconeri expect a new offer from Bayern Munich by the weekend.

The Bavarians’ director Hasan Salihamidzic was in Turin on Monday and said he is ‘always optimistic’ when asked about a positive end of negotiations with Juventus.

Bremer is one of Juventus’ main targets for the Bianconeri, along with Arsenal’s Gabriel.

Tuttosport and Corriere claim the Bianconeri will challenge Inter for Bremer once and if De Ligt flies to Germany.

The Brazilian defender could leave the Granata for circa €40m, a fee Juventus can pay if their star defender goes.
