Juventus transfers: Giuntoli’s priority revealed and one new target in attack

Cristiano Giuntoli is about to start his career at Juventus and will immediately meet Massimiliano Allegri before focusing on sales.

The Tuscan director has left Napoli and will soon be appointed by the Bianconeri.

Saturday’s printed edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (page 2) and Tuttosport claim the 51-year-old will immediately meet coach Allegri to draw up plans for the near future.

According to Gazzetta, they have already spoken through common friends, but things will get much more concrete from the start of next week.

Juventus need to focus on sales after the acquisition of Timothy Weah and the permanent transfer of Dejan Kulusevski to Tottenham.

The likes of Weston McKennie, Arthur and Denis Zakaria are not on Juventus’ plans and have attracted interest from Premier League clubs, reports Il Corriere dello Sport (page 4).

Nobody is unsellable in Turin, even Federico Chiesa, Dusan Vlahovic and Gleison Bremer. According to Gazzetta, Tottenham are particularly interested in the Brazilian centre-back.

After Gazzetta, Tuttosport, and Corriere dello Sport confirm Juventus have targeted Atalanta forward Rasmus Hojlund, but the Denmark international may only join if Vlahovic leaves.

According to Tuttosport, Udinese forward Beto is also being monitored by the Bianconeri. Giuntoli will also speak to Empoli about Fabiano Parisi. As per Tuttosport, the meeting will take place on Monday or Tuesday.

Il Corriere dello Sport adds Spezia‘s Emil Holm to Juventus’ agenda as the Bianconeri need one more right winger after Weah. The Old Lady remains interested in Leicester City’s Timothy Castagne.
