Juventus star Pogba takes legal action against brother threatening him and Mbappé

Paul Pogba has taken legal action against his brother Mathias who has threatened that he will make shocking revelations about the Juventus star, his agent Rafaela Pimenta and Kylian Mbappé.

Mathias Pogba published a video on Instagram where he claimed he would make revelations regarding his brother, who has recently returned to Juventus from Manchester United.

“French, Italian, English and Spanish public deserve to know certain things,” Mathias’ Pogba said.

“Basically, the whole world, including my brother’s fans, France, Juventus and his sponsors.

“They need to have the information and take an informed decision on whether he deserves respect and love from the fans. If he deserves to play for Juventus and a place in the France World Cup squad.

“I want to open the eyes on who is the so-called most powerful woman in football, whose my brother calls his second mum.

“I think that what I’ll say will concern many people,” he continued. “I’ll say important things about Kylian Mbappé. Many elements and witnesses confirm what I’ll say. It could be explosive.”

The ‘most powerful woman in football’ is Rafaela Pimenta, who was the right-hand woman of Mino Raiola and has taken over at the agency founded by the ex-Italian agent following his death in April. He is the prominent representative of world-class champions such as Pogba, Erling Haaland, Matthijs de Ligt and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Mathias’ threats don’t sound like something new to Pogba’s entourage. Calciomercato.com has quoted Pogba’s legal team saying that Mathias’ recent claims on social media are ‘no surprise.’

“They add to more threats and extortion attempts by an organized gang against Paul Pogba.

“The competent authorities in Italy and France were informed a month ago and there will be no further comments in relation to the ongoing investigation.”

Pogba returned to Juventus this summer after his contract with Manchester United ended. He is back in Turin six years after his €100m move to Old Trafford in 2016. He is currently dealing with an injury, so he has yet to make his 2022-23 debut with the Old Lady.
