Alvaro Morata may have only just said goodbye to Juventus but he could already be on the road back to Turin after talks were reportedly re-opened with Atletico Madrid.
The 29-year-old Spanish forward has already had two spells with the Old Lady, from 2014 to 2016 and 2020 to 2022, and it’s clear that he’s found a level of comfort and security in the Piedmont capital, seemingly showing his best in black and white. Juventus sent him back to Spain following the end of his two-year loan spell earlier this month, but they’ve not forgotten about him just yet.
As reported by Calciomercato.com, Juventus re-ignited negotiations with Atletico Madrid in the last few days to further discuss a deal for Morata. They’re hoping to secure a sizeable discount of the €35m figure that was set as the buy option on his recent loan deal.
Massimiliano Allegri is a big fan of the former Chelsea and Real Madrid striker and he’s seemingly the first choice alternative to Dusan Vlahovic.
