Juventus drop Buffon hint?

Juventus have hiked ticket prices for the final match of the season with Verona, which could be an indication it will be Gianluigi Buffon’s last game.

The goalkeeper is expected to retire at the end of the season, but so far no official announcement has been made.

The Bianconeri’s final match of the season is at home to Verona though, and the ticket prices may indicate that Gigi will indeed be hanging up his gloves.

The Bianconeri’s final match of the season is at home to Verona though, and the ticket prices may indicate that Gigi will indeed be hanging up his gloves.

The cheapest full-price ticket for Saturday’s Bologna game is €35, in the Tribuna Nord and Tribuna Sud, while the most expensive is in the Tribuna Est Centrale at €125.

For the Verona game though the cheapest tickets start at €50, with the most expensive going for €180 each.

While that match could be a Scudetto party and would therefore generate more interest, the increase in prices may well indicate that it will be Buffon’s farewell.
