Massimiliano Allegri may have finally found the right way to utilise Adrien Rabiot but Juventus already have a plan in mind for the Frenchman ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 27-year-old French midfielder has had a difficult and disappointing season in Turin, failing to perform his best under Allegri. He has never particularly lived up to expectation following his arrival from Paris Saint-Germain back in 2019.
As reported by Calciomercato.com, Juventus are looking to sign a top midfielder in the summer transfer window, with their preferred options being Paul Pogba and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. This means that they’re looking to sell off Rabiot in order to free up both space in the squad and on the wage bill.
Rabiot’s contract expires with the Old Lady in 2023 and the Bianconeri have tried to sell him in the last couple of transfer windows in an attempt to make capital gains, so this summer is now key if they want to free themselves of the Frenchman before he leaves on a free next year.
