Massimiliano Allegri may have finally found the right way to utilise Adrien Rabiot but Juventus already have a plan in mind for the Frenchman ahead of the summer transfer window.

The 27-year-old French midfielder has had a difficult and disappointing season in Turin, failing to perform his best under Allegri. He has never particularly lived up to expectation following his arrival from Paris Saint-Germain back in 2019.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Juventus are looking to sign a top midfielder in the summer transfer window, with their preferred options being Paul Pogba and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. This means that they’re looking to sell off Rabiot in order to free up both space in the squad and on the wage bill.

Rabiot’s contract expires with the Old Lady in 2023 and the Bianconeri have tried to sell him in the last couple of transfer windows in an attempt to make capital gains, so this summer is now key if they want to free themselves of the Frenchman before he leaves on a free next year.

  1. why cant juve just put some faith in rovella fagioli and miretti? would it relegate juve? not at all if anything i believe these guys could do a good job, why have the clubs just accepted mediocrity just based on a players name? yes i hope juve to actually get rid of him but alot of other players also, not good enough, Wake up Juve and wake up serie A

  2. Why nobody blame flop Locatelli? Both Arthur and Rabiot r better than him.
How about Berni? A total failure since last season.
U guys r blinded and biased.

  3. @Andy… Locatelli is not a flop, considering Arthur and Rabiot have been at the club for years and have exhausted every possible midfield position available and still failed they need to leave… Locatelli is not being used in his natural position and that’s why he’s underperforming, this season, Locatelli was a quality signing for Juve he hasn’t even completed a season yet and you’ve already Labelled him as a flop?!

@dENNIS I completely agree with you, rovella and fagioli should be actually better than half the current midfield at Juventus…but as Allegri foolishly said they can’t “take a chance on youngsters” as if Pedri and Gavi magically fell from the sky and became goldenboy superstars, i even wonder if Juventus needs a youth academy if they’ll keep purchasing players from other clubs
