The Argentine’s agent held talks with Rossoneri Vice-President Adriano Galliani on Thursday where progress is reported to have been made.

Tevez is looking for a new club after he fell out with Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini earlier this season.

Milan, given the likely absence of Antonio Cassano for the next six months, are keen on the player even if there are several economical hurdles to get over.

Stories in the peninsula today suggest that the Rossoneri could pay City €5m after Christmas for his six-month loan.

Milan would also net the option to sign him outright in the summer for a further €20m.

However, agreeing personal terms with the player may be more difficult given that he reportedly nets €8m a season.

However, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport on Friday, the former West Ham man’s representative will speak to Juventus at some stage today to see what they could offer.

The Turin giants are currently overflowing with attacking players given that they have Amauri, Alex Del Piero, Vincenzo Iaquinta, Alessandro Matri, Fabio Quagliarella, Luca Toni and Mirko Vucinic in their squad.
