The 28-year-old also relived a goal he scored against Roma in the Coppa Italia semi-finals, exactly one year ago today since it happened.
“It brought great emotion,” Jonathan recounted to reporters. “I knew then that scoring a goal would show the Inter fans exactly what the real Jonathan is all about.
“It was an important match against a tough rival like Roma.
“I still remember everything perfectly. It’s now a year since that goal and I feel good remembering it.
“I owe a lot to the boss. He has shown faith in me and he lets me play my football.
“I always need to mark the right man defensively, but then I also have the freedom to go forward and create assists or get goals myself.”
