‘It’s inevitable’ Ibrahimovic predicts World Cup winner

Zlatan Ibrahimovic believes it’s ‘inevitable’ that Leo Messi’s Argentina will win the World Cup: ‘It’s already written.’

Messi, who played with Ibra at Barcelona in 2009-10, has reached the World Cup Final for the second time in his career. On Sunday, he will meet Kylian Mbappé’s France. Les Blues will play their second consecutive World Cup Final, the fourth in the last 24 years. No other country has managed as many in the process.

“I think it’s already written who is going to win,” Ibra told media in Dubai, as quoted by AS.com.

“You know who I mean, I think Messi will lift the trophy, it’s already written.”

Ibra had previously shown his respect towards the Argentinean star, saying that he hoped Argentina would win the World Cup because of their No.10.

Last month, the pair attended Marco Verratti’s birthday party in Paris, posing together in a picture.

Ibrahimovic, 41, is currently training in Dubai and will return to action in the second part of the campaign for the Rossoneri.

He underwent knee surgery in May after Milan‘s title win, the first one for the Rossoneri in 11 years.
