Inzaghi: ‘Honda out for a few weeks’

Attacker Keisuke Honda will be sidelined for ‘a few weeks’ reveals Milan Coach Filippo Inzaghi.

The former striker spoke to Milan Channel ahead of a Press conference this afternoon, and revealed that Honda is facing a spell on the sidelines.

“Yesterday, Honda sustained a sprained ankle,” Inzaghi revealed.

“Unfortunately we’ll lose him for a few weeks. He’s very important for us, and I’m very sorry to have lost him.

“Unfortunately we’ll lose him for a few weeks. He’s very important for us, and I’m very sorry to have lost him.

“That said, we’re getting almost everyone [else] back, which is a very good thing. [Giacomo] Bonaventura, [Adil] Rami and [Cristian] Zapata are back, but I’d prefer not to risk the latter two as they’ve only had one training session.

“They’re all back, except for long-term absentees like [Riccardo] Montolivo and [Stephan] El Shaarawy. It’s good to have so many options.”
