Inter: Rebic plus Dzeko, Icardi to Roma?

Inter are turning towards Eintracht Frankfurt striker Ante Rebic and could send Mauro Icardi to Roma for Edin Dzeko, claim Sky Sport Italia.

The Nerazzurri have practically given up on Romelu Lukaku, insisting their final offer won’t be increased, giving Juventus the all-clear to start a swap deal with Paulo Dybala.

They still need centre-forwards and are reportedly aiming for 25-year-old Rebic, who has some Serie A experience at Fiorentina.

He is currently struggling with a back injury, but scored 10 goals with six assists in 38 competitive games for Eintracht Frankfurt last season.

Rebic would cost approximately €40m to purchase, with a percentage of that going to his previous club, Fiorentina.

Meanwhile, Sky Sport Italia also state that Icardi is opening the door to discussions with Roma, where his transfer would allow first choice Dzeko to join Inter.

So far, the Nerazzurri have only offered €13m plus bonuses and the Giallorossi will not budge from their €20m valuation.

If Icardi were to make the move to Roma, then clearly Inter would also receive a hefty cash sum as part of the deal.

Napoli remain on the sidelines ready to pounce, but Icardi seems to have some doubts about joining the Partenopei, even though they are in the Champions League.
