Inter stars Marcelo Brozovic and Stefan de Vrij missed the last Serie A match against Torino and only the Croatia international could recover in time for the next game with Fiorentina.
Both players are dealing with muscle issues which forced them to the sidelines against Torino on Sunday. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Brozovic is continuing his recovery process and the club’s medical staff hopes to see him return to group training on Thursday.
Brozovic will return against Fiorentina on Saturday if that will be the case. The Croatia international has only missed two Serie A games this season and Inter failed to win them both, collecting just one point.
As for De Vrij, the former Lazio defender won’t be back before the international break and is expected to return to action against Juventus at the beginning of April.
