Inter, Juventus and Tottenham inquire about Gudmundsson – report

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter have joined the race to sign Albert Gudmundsson, but Juventus and Tottenham have also inquired about the Genoa star.

Inter have already secured a deal to sign Mehdi Taremi on a free transfer in June, but according to Gazzetta, the Serie A giants want another reinforcement in attack.

The pink paper claims Inter aren’t simply interested, but they have already opened talks to sign the 26-year-old in the summer.

According to Gazzetta, Inter hope to structure a deal similar to the one that allowed them to sign Davide Frattesi from Sassuolo last summer, so a loan deal with an obligation to buy.

However, they won’t lack competition as Juventus and Tottenham have also inquired about the versatile striker. Genoa’s asking price is at least €30m, according to Gazzetta.

Tottenham signed Gudmundsson’s ex-teammate Radu Dragusin in the January transfer window for €31m including add-ons.

Gudmundsson is Genoa’s best scorer this season with 12 goals in 29 appearances across all competitions.
