Inter director in London for Chelsea, Tottenham and Man Utd transfer talks

Things are certainly moving at Inter, because director of sport Piero Ausilio is in London for talks with amongst others Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.

Multiple Italian sources report that Ausilio has been in the Capital of England since yesterday evening.

What he’s doing there is another matter, as there are differing versions of events.

Sky Sport Italia insist Ausilio is not meeting with Chelsea to discuss Lukaku, because that matter is on the back-burner and dealing primarily with Lukaku’s lawyer.

Sportitalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà notes Inter need to sell before they can secure the arrival of players like Paulo Dybala, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Gleison Bremer, Empoli midfielder Kristjan Asllani, Cagliari winger Raoul Bellanova and Genoa wing-back Andrea Cambiaso.

He refuses to rule out the possibility of selling Lautaro Martinez if the right offer comes along, which would allow Inter to then use Dybala and Lukaku together.

A more likely exit is defender Milan Skriniar, who is the subject of a €50m bid from PSG, but the Nerazzurri want €70m to let the Slovakia international leave.

Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are also interested in his services, but Alessandro Bastoni is not on the market, as confirmed by his agent.

Both Sportitalia and La Gazzetta dello Sport maintain Ausilio has a meeting with Manchester United on his calendar, as they too are looking for reinforcements in defence.

The Gazzetta sees the likely sale being Denzel Dumfries, the winger who is wanted by Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester United.
