Zlatan Ibrahimovic is “optimistic” about Milan’s chances of qualifying for the semi-finals after their draw with Barcelona.

The 0-0 result at San Siro in the first leg of the quarter-final means the Rossoneri can go through with a score draw in Spain next Tuesday.

“We ran very hard today and everyone knows Barcelona have more possession than any other side in the world,” noted former Blaugrana striker Ibra.

“We did well and created quite a few scoring opportunities, but didn’t get it in the net. The 0-0 is a good result anyway and we’ll see what happens.

“We have already played in Barcelona, even without me, so we’ll give it a go and I am optimistic.”
