Zlatan Ibrahimovic reveals his tactical freedom is behind his form for Milan and reassures Robinho after missing an open goal.

The Swede earned and converted a penalty in Friday’s 2-0 victory away to Genoa.

“We scored in the second half, but created plenty of chances throughout the game and if we continue like this then it’ll be hard to stop us,” said Ibra.

“We’re giving great responses away from home, where we impose our football on the game and score regularly.

“My position? I like to be free on the pitch. The Coach gives me this possibility and for the moment it works.”

Less effective is Robinho, who blazed over an open goal against both Barcelona and Genoa in recent weeks.

“He’s a good guy and has great heart. These things happen and I’ve experienced it too. Once he scores one, another 20 will follow.”
