Juventus will fine Dusan Vlahovic €70,000 for a red card he received against Genoa on Sunday, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Vlahovic received two yellow cards for dissent and was therefore sent off in Juventus’ latest Serie A match against Genoa.
Coach Massimiliano Allegri said after the game that Vlahovic would be fined, and according to Gazzetta, the Serbia international will pay €70,000, 5% of his monthly gross wages.
Vlahovic has received a one-match ban, so he will miss the upcoming match against Igor Tudor’s Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome after the break.
The ex-Fiorentina striker has remained in Turin, so he won’t play for Serbia’s national team during the March break due to back pain.
Vlahovic joined Juventus in an €80m deal from Fiorentina in January 2022. He is the Bianconeri’s best scorer this season, with 15 goals in 27 appearances across all competitions. His contract at the Allianz Stadium runs out in June 2026.
