Hertha Berlin make Piatek offer

Hertha Berlin have reportedly tabled an offer for Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek, according to Sky Sport Italia.

Piatek has been constantly linked with a move away from San Siro following the arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic in December.

Tottenham are interested in signing the Pole, but would like the player to arrive on loan, rather than pay Milan’s €30m asking price.

Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport Italia states that Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin have reportedly made an offer of €27m plus bonuses for the 24-year-old, and a deal could be closed soon.

However, the player has not yet given the all-clear or agreed personal terms, so Piatek could still try to force through a Spurs switch.

Piatek was bought for €35m a year ago from Genoa after a successful start to life in Serie A.
