Haaland makes huge salary request to join Donnarumma and Verratti at PSG

PSG have reportedly jumped to the front of the queue to sign Erling Haaland, but La Gazzetta dello Sport reports his agent Mino Raiola will request a salary in the region of €50m-a-year.

The pink paper reports Borussia Dortmund rejected several offers for the Norwegian striker this summer, including some in the region of €120m.

However, the 21-year-old can leave the Bundesliga giants for his €75m release clause over the summer and according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, PSG are in pole position to secure his services.

Cherubini: ‘Juventus regret not signing Haaland, not Donnarumma’

With Kylian Mbappé expected to move to Real Madrid on a free transfer at the end of the season, Haaland has been identified as the perfect replacement for the 2018 France World Cup winner.

According to the report, his agent Mino Raiola would request a salary in the region of €50m-a-year for his client plus commissions. This is also because Haaland’s price tag would be ‘lower’ than his actual transfer value.

Raiola and PSG have already done business with Gigio Donnarumma, who joined the Ligue 1 giants on a free transfer from Milan in the summer.

Scorer of 68 goals in 67 games with Borussia Dortmund, Haaland could join the Italians Donnarumma and Marco Verratti at the Parcs des Princes at the end of the season.
