Gilardino on Inter radar

Inter could snap up Alberto Gilardino from Genoa after Andrea Stramaccioni released Giampaolo Pazzini.

The Nerazzurri made it clear in pre-season training that Pazzini is not a part of Stramaccioni’s plans.

The side does require an understudy to Diego Milito and today’s Tuttosport suggests the latest target is Gilardino.

It would be a return to San Siro, albeit the other side of the stadium, as he had a spell at Milan.

Gilardino’s career has taken a turn for the worse recently, as he only joined Genoa six months ago.

On Friday President Enrico Preziosi assured “if Gilardino wants to remain at Genoa, then he can.”
