Gazzetta: Juventus hope for Vlahovic bidding war involving Chelsea and target Hojlund

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus hope for a bidding war for their star striker Dusan Vlahovic and see Rasmus Hojlund as a potential replacement for the Serbia international.

The Bianconeri are ready to sell Vlahovic in the summer but won’t part ways with the Serbian forward for less than €80-90m.

Wednesday’s printed edition of Gazzetta dello Sport (page 6) claims Juve directors are aware of interest from many top clubs, from Bayern Munich to Chelsea and Atletico Madrid and hope it will result in a bidding war which would allow the club to raise funds for the signing of Atalanta striker Hojlund.

Many clubs have already targeted the 20-year-old in the Premier League after scoring nine goals in 32 Serie A games in his first season in Italy’s top flight.

Hojlund joined Atalanta from Strum Graz for circa €17m last summer, and his contract at the Gewiss Stadium runs out in June 2027.
