Fiorentina to stick with Miha

Fiorentina owner Andrea Della Valle has denied mounting speculation that Sinisa Mihajlovic won't be at the club next season.

The Viola are unbeaten in five games in Serie A, but slid to ninth on Sunday after a throwing away a lead twice to draw 2-2 with Roma.

Asked about Mihajlovic's future, Della Valle said: "Sinisa has a contract and the agreements between us will be respected: we'll go forward with him long-term.

"Since our important players returned, he is showing how much he is worth as a Coach."

Della Valle wasn't so confident about tying down the likes of Gianluca Comotto, Mario Santana and Marco Donadel, whose contracts expire this summer.

"There isn't great optimism," he said. "The distance remains despite us making important offers."
