“I’m not a doctor, a pharmacist or a miracle worker,” the former Lazio” data-scaytid=”14″>Lazio and Palermo tactician noted on Friday afternoon.
“I’m just a Coach who asks his players to battle and respect the shirt they wear. God took seven days to make the world.
“I want a team that always battles,” he continued. “Those players who don’t fight have defeat in their heart.”
Rossi has been a popular appointment amongst the club’s fans, but he’s warned that not a lot may change against the Rossoneri this weekend.
“I’m nervous, but more curious,” he continued.
“I’ve just arrived here in this situation, but I must do well and quickly. I do need to see a few games though in order to understand where to intervene.
“Only a competitive match can give me an accurate assessment of what the problems are.
“I’ve worked with only a few players during the international break, so it’ll be hard to see my work against Milan.
“The formation? I have an idea about how we should play, but right now the 4-3-1-2 system could be the best solution.
“We’ll give it a go against Milan, but we won’t necessarily win just because I’ve beaten them in the past.”
Italian champions Milan will go into the encounter having won their last five Serie A games on the trot.
“They are in great form and it will be very difficult to stop them. But we will try to do our best and get a result at home.”
The Viola will be without Stevan Jovetic, Juan Vargas, Per Kroldrup, Cesare Natali and Mattia Cassani.
