Europa League: Roma vs Sheriff – probable line-ups

Roma are looking to close out their Europa League group stage with a bang when they host Sheriff this evening.

The match between the Giallorossi and the Tiraspol outfit kicks off at 17.45 UK time at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.

Roma currently sit second in Group G after five games, two points behind leaders Slavia Prague and five ahead of Servette. Having already qualified for the Round of 16, Jose Mourinho’s side will now look to do what they can to snatch a first-place finish in the group.

Should the Giallorossi fail to finish first in their group, they’d have to take part in a play-off round against a third-place Champions League team.

Roma cannot count on the injured Tammy Abraham, Chris Smalling, Marash Kumbulla, Leonardo Spinazzola, Rasmus Kristensen, Sardar Azmoun and Paulo Dybala.

Sheriff are without Moussa Kyabou, Peter Ademo and Rasheed Akanbi, all of whom are sidelined with injuries.

When these two teams met back in September, Roma secured a 2-1 win away to Sheriff.
