England change squad for Italy

England added Rob Green, Danny Rose and Jack Butland to the squad against Italy after losing Fraser Forster and Luke Shaw.

Roy Hodgson’s side will face Lithuania in a Euro 2016 qualifier on Friday before travelling to Turin’s Juventus Stadium for a friendly against Italy on March 31.

Southampton goalkeeper Forster was stretchered off with a knee injury during today’s 2-0 win over Burnley and is ruled out for the next six months.

Manchester United’s Shaw also pulled out of these games due to injury.
