The Argentinean returned to action against Napoli earlier this week after spending three months on the sidelines with an injury and scored his first goal in 2021 in Juventus’ 2-1 win.

“He wanted to leave his mark. He wanted to do well and he entered the pitch and he immediately scored a great goal. The judgment on his performance can only be a positive one,” his agent Jorge Antun told TuttoJuve.

“Paulo will never give up, he is even stronger than injuries.”

Juventus have reportedly put new contract talks on hold and the relationship between the player and the club has become tense.

“We think about the present. Paulo only wants to play and do well in the final part of the season,” his agent concluded.
