Jose Mourinho’s future is continuing to be a hot topic in Italy and the latest reports suggest a possible return to Inter could be on the horizon.
The Portuguese coach had a happy debut season in the Italian capital with Roma last year, showing signs of a strong project and guiding the team to the Europa Conference League title. Things have started to grow tense for Mourinho in recent months, however.
Mourinho has started to express frustration with the Roma fans over their seemingly endless criticism and has been left disappointed with the work on the transfer market. Last week, reports emerged that Paris Saint-Germain were interested in picking up the Portuguese coach to replace Christophe Galtier.
As reported by La Repubblica, Mourinho will start to seriously consider his future in the next few weeks, with possible moves to either PSG or Real Madrid on the horizon. Interestingly, Inter are also considering hiring him to replace Simone Inzaghi, bringing back the man who won them the Treble.
At the moment, nothing is concrete, but a move away from the Italian capital is starting to look more and more likely for the Special One.
