Del Neri backs Floro Flores move

Juventus boss Gigi Del Neri has given his backing to Antonio Floro Flores' proposed move to Turin.

The Udinese striker is expected to arrive on a six-month loan later today amid great scepticism.

Asked for his reaction to the news, Del Neri said: "They also gave me up for being unsuited [to the club].

"They said that I wasn't worthy of Juve before I arrived here.

"If Floro Flores does come, I hope he shows the opposite [to what everyone is saying]."

There are reports that the 27-year-old might not be Juventus' only reinforcement up front in January.

Beppe Marotta has already brought in Luca Toni, although the World Cup winner is out for a month with a knee injury.

La Gazzetta dello Sport claims Juventus will make an offer for Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano if they manage to sell Amauri.
