Deila: ‘Moment of our lives’

Celtic manager Ronny Deila says a win over Inter at San Siro tonight in the Europa League would be ‘the moment of our lives’.

The Nerazzurri face the Scottish champions tonight following a 3-3 draw in Glasgow last week, meaning that a draw would almost certainly be enough to see them through.

However, the Bhoys’ manager insists his side are capable of pulling off a win in Milan and advancing to the Last 16.

“I’m looking forward to the game,” Deila said in his pre-match Press conference.

“I’m looking forward to the game,” Deila said in his pre-match Press conference.

“It will be tough as we need to win here, but everything is possible in football. If we have our best performance of the season, and have a little bit of luck with us, we have a chance

“In my opinion, we have everything to win and we are going to go for that victory that will put us through.

“We need to win here, but everything is possible in football. In my opinion, we have everything to win now and we're going to go for that victory to go through.

“We created lots of chances and scored three goals last time, so we have to continue causing Inter trouble, but we have to defend in a better way.

“We showed we could match them and create chances against them, and that’s important.

“It’s a big game. Celtic have been in this arena [San Siro] many times and have had good matches here, and that’s what we want to do tomorrow. If we can get a historic win here then it will be the moment of our lives.

“Of course, it’s vital to win and go through, but it’s also important to play these matches as it shows what level you are at as well. It will be an exciting and interesting game tomorrow and we are looking forward to it.”

"If we beat Inter, then you've shown you can beat anybody, so that would give us very good confidence.

"I believe in the next round everything is possible.”
