Roberto De Zerbi’s Marseille could consider making a move for Juventus midfielder Arthur, who hasn’t played a single minute this season after returning from a Fiorentina loan and could therefore be left free to leave.

It isn’t the first time the Ligue 1 club has been linked with a move for a Bianconeri player since De Zerbi took over during the summer.

Marseille signed Adrien Rabiot in mid-September as a free agent after the midfielder had left Juventus at the end of his contract in July, and they were also recently rumoured to be interested in Paul Pogba, following the news of the reduction of his doping ban.

Another Juventus midfielder ends up on Marseille’s radar

Arthur is just the last Juventus midfielder to draw interest from Roberto De Zerbi’s Marseille, who sit third in Ligue 1 after picking up 14 points from their first seven matches of the season.

As quoted by Calciomercato.com, Tuttosport reported that the 28-year-old is among the profiles that the French outfit are currently considering to strengthen their midfield and Juventus could be open to letting him leave since coach Thiago Motta doesn’t consider him a useful resource.

The Brazilian played 33 Serie A games at Fiorentina under Vincenzo Italiano last season, also scoring two goals, but still didn’t have a chance to make an appearance at the Allianz Stadium this campaign.
