Costacurta: ‘Mancini doing a great job’

Alessandro Costacurta believes Roberto Mancini is doing “a great job” as Italy CT, though admits he would say that since “I chose him”.

The former Milan defender was sub-commissioner of the FIGC until last month, and it fell to him to appoint the new Coach of the national team.

“I chose him, so I’m party to it,” Costacurta told reporters when asked to judge Mancio’s work, speaking outside the presentation of the Gran Galà del Calcio in Milan.
