Giorgio Chiellini has donated his final jersey to the Juventus Museum and left the inscription of a man who played 17 years with one club.
The captain made his last appearance for the Old Lady in a 2-0 defeat to Fiorentina at the Stadio Olimpico.
He signed the shirt before it was placed into the Museum for permanent display and left a message for all future Bianconeri supporters who see it.
“This jersey is not worn, it is stitched into your skin. Those who understand that can become legends!”
The 37-year-old made 561 competitive appearances in the Juventus jersey, scoring 36 goals.
He is expected to continue his playing career in Major League Soccer with LAFC.
