Interviewed by Il Mattino, Cavani said: "Napoli are giving me unforgettable moments and not just from a sporting perspective.

"My teammates and the fans make me happier every day. Every training session is a joy. And now it's time for Lazio, another big game.

"We are making our fans dream. We too are dreaming. This is very beautiful.

"It would be great to be able to play against the most famous clubs in the world in the Champions League. I believe in it and I hope that this dream comes true.

"Serie A isn't easy. I can say that because I know this League well by now.

"It's risky to talk about the future now. We mustn't get distracted by the expectations of those around us, but it's clear that we're aiming high."
