“I don’t know if Napoli spoke with Lazio. Inter always wanted me, and I’m glad I chose Inter. I want to honour the Nerazzurri shirt in the best way.”

“They’ve won the last Scudetti, so they’ll be a very hard team to beat. We want to improve on last season and we’re aiming to do well in every competition.”
Mauro Icardi has been linked with a move away from the club, does Candreva expect to be setting-up the striker this season?
“He’s a great striker and our captain, but I won’t promise assists. I just want to celebrate with him and my teammates.
“Will he stay? We haven’t talked about it, but I think he’ll stay. The important thing is that we all win together.”
