‘Benitez to Madrid? I’ve heard nothing’

Rafa Benitez’s agent insists ‘I’ve not heard anything’, despite rumours the Coach will take over at Real Madrid.

The Napoli boss is out of contract at the end of the season, and is widely expected to replace Carlo Ancelotti on the Bernabeu bench, with the Italian having been sacked yesterday.

“Is Benitez the new Real Madrid Coach?” Manuel Garcia Quillon considered, speaking to Sky.

“No, I’ve not heard anything. Rafa is the Napoli Coach.”

Quillon also gave an update on his summit with Milan’s joint-CEO Adriano Galliani, where it’s believed Mario Suarez was discussed.

Meanwhile, Napoli’s players will remain at Castelvolturno for a training camp all of this week, as they approach a Champions League showdown with Lazio on Sunday.
