The Rossoneri beat Barca 2-0 at San Siro on Wednesday to give them a first leg advantage in their last 16 Champions League tie.
Pedro, however, insists that there was an infringement before Kevin Prince Boateng gave the Diavolo the lead.
“Philippe Mexes pushed me over and Cristian Zapata’s handball, we all thought, was very clear,” he noted.
“The referee did not let us talk to him. Eventually we continued playing and it was not to be…
“It was a bad match for us. They played very compact, they got two goals and now we have to come back.
“We tried to play our style of game as always, but sometimes it is not possible. We are now just thinking of the return leg.
“In the Camp Nou they will play very defensively, we’ll get at them and hopefully have better luck there.”
Dani Alves, meanwhile, called for more fight ahead of the second leg. “We have to be better competitors,” he stated.
“It’s not that we played terribly after the first goal. We didn’t play well in general and that’s largely due to how well our rival played.
“We have to improve. We didn’t react well to the first goal. Nobody gives you results or ties. We must fight and earn them. To continue in this competition you have to do better.”
Teammate Iniesta felt that Barcelona were not at 100 per cent. “I think we lacked freshness, we didn’t create chances and they were well organised on the field,” he reflected.
“There is a second leg to play and we have to believe that we can come back from this. It will be a different story at our own stadium.
“From the very first minute at the Camp Nou, we’ll be going for it.“
