Video: Balotelli hits back at streamer: ‘I promise I’ll smash Serie A’

Mario Balotelli promised to ‘smash’ Serie A when he’ll sign for a top-tier club in Italy, as he reacted to a streamer who said he would currently pick Venezia‘s Joel Pohjanpalo over the former Inter and Milan striker.

Currently without a team, the 34-year-old took part in a live streaming on Twitch alongside former footballers Emiliano Viviano, Radja Nainggolan and streamer Enerix, who said Pohjanpalo would be a more reliable option than Balotelli for a newly promoted team.

The streamer then added the former Italy international’s level in recent years was , triggering Balotelli’s reaction.

“What the f**k are you saying,” Balotelli replied.

“Just because I wasn’t in Serie A, what I did doesn’t count? F**k off, you and Serie A.

“It’s a promise, I’ll smash Serie A when I sign [for a club], I smash this f*****g Serie A.”

Balotelli was linked with a return to Serie A in recent days, as Genoa manager Alberto Gilardino reportedly called him to explore his availability to join the Grifone.
