Nicolas Anelka believes Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba will “be in the top five players in the world”.
The French forward had a brief spell in Turin in 2013, and gave his thoughts on his compatriot, who is valued at around €100m.
“I think Paul Pogba merits that price,” Anelka told Goal.
“He’s a high-class player, and he’s still very young. He can do anything, at any time. He’s the kind of player who can win you important matches, and he’ll still get better.

Anelka also gave his opinion of another young Frenchman, Anthony Martial.
“He’s a very good player, and I’m sure he’ll be successful with Manchester United. He’s one of the most talented young players of his generation, and I’m sure he’ll get better and better.”
