Amrabat’s agent confirms interest from Premier League

Sofyan Amrabat’s agent Mohammed Sinouh admits receiving ‘a lot of calls’ from Premier League clubs interested in buying the Fiorentina midfielder.

The Morocco international has been one of the best performers in Qatar, helping his national team reach the World Cup quarter-finals for the first time in history.

The 25-year-old was praised by Spain’s coach Luis Enrique after Morocco’s win over the Red Fury on Tuesday.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano spoke to the midfielder’s agent, asking for updates on his transfer situation and whether it’s true that many clubs from England have been following the Viola midfielder.

“Of course, I get a lot of phone calls for Sofyan. The whole world has seen he’s the best holding midfielder of the World Cup,” said Sinouh.

“Sofyan is a top professional, he’s focused on World Cup with Morocco”.

Amrabat joined Fiorentina from Hellas Verona for €20m in 2020. He has made 101 appearances in Serie A, scoring two goals.

His contract at the Stadio Artemio Franchi expires in June 2024, but Fiorentina have an option to extend it for a further campaign. Last summer, he was linked with a move to Tottenham.
