Allegri still not happy with Milan

Massimiliano Allegri was still not happy with Milan's performance after crushing Parma 4-1 for a third consecutive victory.

“We had a decent game, but could've done better in certain moments,” moaned the Coach.

“It was important to win and give a sense of consistency to our recent results, especially as the table is beginning to stretch out and so it was crucial to stay close to the top.

“When you play every three days it is natural to feel a little tired. We were sluggish in the first half, then picked up after breaking the deadlock.

“When the lads play the way they know how, it's difficult not to create scoring opportunities. However, we still allow our opponents too many shots from distance.”

Antonio Nocerino was the unexpected hat-trick hero, having previously scored only seven goals in his entire Serie A career.

“He is doing well and we're all happy for him,” continued Allegri. “Nocerino is playing in his role and giving his best. It may seem strange, but changing position affects everything, from runs into the box to reference points and even posture.”

The Milan Coach won the Scudetto last season, but has still not signed a contract extension.

“I have spoken to the club and we agree on everything. There's no rush, as the important thing is to reach the top of the table, then we can talk it over during the winter break.”
