Alex Sandro and Danilo to extend Juventus deals

According to Sky Sport Italia, Juventus are on the verge of agreeing new contracts with both Brazil internationals Danilo and Alex Sandro.

The Bianconeri are in the process of revamping their squad and bringing more talents through the youth academy, but that doesn’t mean there won’t also be room for the veterans.

Danilo already practically announced he will extend his current deal to stay in Turin, now it’s reported that Alex Sandro will follow suit.

The 32-year-old defender’s current deal is due to expire at the end of this season and there is a clause allowing for an automatic extension of one year based on appearances.

In theory, Juventus could terminate the contract anyway in June for €1.5m, but they wish to keep him for next season.

Alex Sandro joined the Old Lady from FC Porto in August 2015 at a cost of €28m.

So far this season, he has made 27 competitive appearances, contributing two assists.
