Alex: ‘Milan’s 2015 was ok’

Defender Alex is 'pleased with Milan's first part of the season', and looks ahead to the 'crucial' January matches.

The Rossoneri's 4-2 win against Frosinone on December 20 was essential for their team to breathe, while hanging on to a precious sixth spot just behind the main Scudetto contenders.

Furthermore Alex himself was able to get on the score-sheet alongside Carlos Bacca, Giacomo Bonaventura and Ignazio Abate.

"It was an important goal against Frosinone because it helped the team,” he told Milan Channel. “It was a difficult match but we got the three points.

“We had talked about how important it was to win the game so that we could finish the year on a high note and now we need to push on.

“I am pleased with the first part of the season. I am working well with the Coach and I feel good. Mihajlovic is a bit tougher than the other coaches I have worked with. He works for the team and he did well in helping us play better.

“January is a crucial month, all the matches will be important."
