Al-Ahli increase offer to Juventus star Pogba – report

La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Saudi side Al-Ahli have significantly increased their offer to Paul Pogba in an attempt to pry him from Juventus.

The 30-year-old Frenchman sparked the rumour mill after being seen in Jeddah recently. Whilst the trip was officially for personal reasons, he reportedly visited the facilities of both Al-Ittihad and Al-Ahli.

Reports emerged last week that Pogba had been offered a three-year deal worth around €100m net by Al-Ahli, an offer which seemingly failed to convince the midfielder.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Al-Ahli is ready to send in a new offer to Pogba, worth around €150m total across three years.

Juventus would be willing to sell the Frenchman for as little as €10m this summer, allowing them to avoid making a capital loss on the 30-year-old, who earns around €8m net per season in Turin.

L’Equipe reported yesterday that Pogba was not interested in the move, keen to redeem himself with the Bianconeri.

Pogba hardly featured for Juventus last season, seeing just 161 minutes of action across 10 total appearances, dealing with a number of serious injuries.
