Agent: Real Madrid want Osvaldo

Agent to Roma striker Pablo Daniel Osvaldo has confirmed rumours that Real Madrid are tracking the forward, even if no offer has been made yet.

Agent to Roma striker Pablo Daniel Osvaldo has confirmed rumours that Real Madrid are tracking the forward, even if no offer has been made yet.

The Argentine-born forward scored 11 goals from 26 appearances in his return season to Serie A with the Giallorossi, but rumours in recent weeks have linked him with a quick move back to Spain, where he was previously successful with Espanyol.

On from this, the player’s agent has now confirmed that the Spanish champions’ interest is genuine, but that an approach has not yet taken place.

“It is true, the interest from Real Madrid for Pablo is real,” Dario Decoud told gazzettagiallorossa.it.

“But, the Spaniards have not yet turned to me, they should speak with Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini. Right now though, no offers have been received.”

Last summer, Roma paid Espanyol a fee that could rise to a reported €17.5m for Osvaldo’s services.
