Brentford are not the only English club interested in Yacine Adli, as Leicester City and Nottingham Forest are also tracking the €14m-rated Milan midfielder.

There had already been reports over the last few days that Brentford were asking after the player, who had turned down a far more lucrative proposal from the Saudi Pro League.

Now Calciomercato.com claim that the interest is growing from English shores, with Leicester City and Nottingham Forest also keeping a close eye on the situation, but not yet at the point of making a formal offer.

Adli not part of Milan plans

The asking price was €14m, but their desire to get him off the books makes that more than negotiable, with suggestions €12m plus bonuses will be enough.

Milan paid €8.75m to purchase him from Girondins de Bordeaux in 2021 and the PSG youth academy product remained there on loan, only coming to San Siro from 2022.

He has made just 39 competitive appearances for the Rossoneri, contributing one goal and two assists.

Despite getting so little playing time, he seems determined to remain.
