Piotr Zielinski is close to signing a new contract with Napoli that includes a release clause worth €100m, it’s reported.
According to Rai Sport, the negotiations are progressing well with the 24-year-old midfielder’s entourage.
His current deal runs to June 2021 with a release clause set at €65m.
The improved salary of €2.5m per year to June 2023 would also raise the clause to €100m.
He had been targeted by Premier League sides Liverpool and Chelsea in recent months.
